SimDOME final review meeting, Brussels

The SimDOME project has successfully concluded with the final review meeting held on 16 February 2023 in Brussels, Belgium. This meeting culminated in the development of a semantic Open Simulation Platform (OSP) for materials modelling following four years of extensive collaborative research and innovation.

We are happy to see the advances made in the project, for example, the OSP core, the OSP components, and the four industrial user cases via the OSP platform, which have been made accessible to researchers, engineers and scientists in the materials modelling field. We are already in discussion with other EU innovation projects and initiatives on the exploitation of these innovation assets.

The project partners that realised this collaborative effort are the University of Bologna, Umicore, Politechnico di Torino, Politechnico di Milano, NIREOS, Fraunhofer and CMCL.

It has been a memorable experience into collaborative innovation!
